  • Information we receive from mortgage settlement service providers (such as consumer reporting agencies)

Categories of Affiliates and Nonaffiliated Third Parties that Receive Information from the Company:

  • We may disclose non-public personal information about you as a consumer, customer, or former customer to affiliates within the Directors Financial family of companies as permitted by law.  We do not disclose non-public personal information about you as a consumer, customer, or former customer to non-affiliated third parties outside the Directors Financial family of companies. 

How We Protect Your Personal Information and Your Privacy:

  • We restrict access to non-public personal-information about you as a consumer, customer, or former customer to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain safeguards which restrict access to your non-public personal information.

Sharing Information Inside the Directors Financial Group of Companies:

  • We are permitted under law to share information about our experiences or transactions with you or your accounts (such as your account balance and your payment history with us) with our affiliates.  We also may share additional information about you or your accounts (such as information we receive from you in applications and information from consumer reporting agencies) with our affiliates.  You may direct us not to disclose to our affiliates this additional information by exercising your right to opt out.  However, the right to opt out does not apply to information about our experiences or transactions with you or your account with us.  At the time of application, you may opt out by completing the Opt Out Request Form..  If you choose to Opt Out, the Opt Out Request Form must be received by the Company within 10 business days,  If the Company has not received your Opt Out Request Form within this specified timeframe, your information will be disclosed as apart of the Company’s policies,  business relationships with service providers and as permitted by law.

Notice to Vermont, North Dakota, New Mexico and California Residents: The information sharing practices described above are in accordance with Federal law. State law in Vermont, North Dakota, New Mexico and California, places additional limits on sharing information. In accordance with these laws, we will not share information we collect accept: 

  • As required or permitted by law (such as in response to a subpoena) or;
  • With your written authorization or consent. 
  • To companies that perform services on our behalf (such as billing services) or;

 

How to Exercise Your Right to Opt Out from the Disclosure of Your Information:

  • If you wish to exercise your right to opt out from the disclosure of information to our affiliates as described above you may complete the Opt Out Request Form and send it to us.
